Melty chocolate. Buttery toffee. A little salty crunch of a pretzel. HELLO.
Wake up your taste buds for this!
This decadent little cookie is definite a power-packed bite of deliciousness. The combination of sweet with a hint of savory from the salt on the pretzels will have you making a double take as you take your first bite.
My sweet tooth has been in overdrive lately… from my buttery Spritz cookies to the cranberry orange cookies I have been baking up a storm. My final stop on my cookie tour before my New Years Resolutions kick into gear (or at least I pretend they do) I can’t stop my inner cookie monster from wanting one of my all time favs- the decadent Pretzel toffee chocolate chunk cookie.
Inspired by Simply Sweet Magazine.
Reasons why you need to add this baby to your cookie list:
- Chocolatey… need I say more?
- Easy to make
- A little chewy with a satisfying crunch
- The perfect combo of savory and sweet
- A crowd pleaser for all
- Makes a normal chocolate chip cookie… well just normal.

My kids loves helping in the pretzel breaking process. They know the faster they work the faster they will be rewarded. Its a team sport making cookies and this one and the fun begins right in the beginning.
The only hard part about making these cookies is being patient when they cool. Because once you bite into these you might just eat the whole bunch. And if you’re caught with your hands on the last one you better be ready to roll your sleeves up again. Cause you my friend just woke up your own inner cookie monster.
