Wanting something that will bring a little nostalgia back into the kitchen? A dish like Grammy used to make? Wait- what? After you try its hearty rich flavor, I’m sure you will be adding this to the family recipe book too.
I must say comfort food is a must with kiddos. Feeding the soul as well as the belly makes all the difference between just eating a meal and one that is cooked with love. Having a meal that everyone in the family can agree on… well that’s just solid gold.
Just a little salt and pepper to flavor the chicken, brown a bit on each side, and add the rest of the ingredients. Wait 20 minutes for it all to simmer down into its fabulousness and you are good to go. Pour yourself a glass of wine at this point while its working its magic and relax for a moment. Add a veggie or two on the side if you like and you got yourself a hearty home cooked meal.
